Domestic Violence
On this date, the victim was at the Carroll County Jail for first appearance. The offender followed the victim out into the lobby. Offender advised victim, if she had anything to say, say it to her. She had been waiting to whoop her ass. Another person advised victim to walk on out the door and not get into a confrontation with offender.
Victim advised, that this is a constant problem with offender. Her son is married to offender’s daughter and is currently in the Carroll County Jail for family violence. Victim was informed of Magistrate Court and advised on a good behavior hearing.
Criminal Trespass
On July 26, 2010 at 1200 hrs officer spoke with complainant on Old Villa Rica Road, in reference to criminal trespass. Complainant advised, between July 20, 2010 and today’s date that someone broke into his house. He stated that they were able to gain entry by breaking out the back door glass. He stated at this time, he does not know if anything was stolen. He also stated, he does not know how much it will cost to fix his door. Nothing further at this time.
Theft
On July 26, 2010 complainant and boyfriend came to the Carroll County Sheriff’s office to file a report of theft of medications. Complainant stated that offender came to her residence to get her bags. Offender was in room with complainant’s boyfriend. Complainant left room to get ice. While she was out of room, offender picked up some bags and left room. Boyfriend stated, he did not know that one of the bags taken was a bag belonging to complainant.
When complainant returned to room, she noticed her medication bag was missing. Boyfriend called 911 and deputy arrived on scene. Offender was not located. The medicine bag contained bactrim, DS, Xanax and Percocet.
Domestic Dispute
On July 28, 2010 deputy arrived at Deerfield Lane, for a domestic dispute that had already occurred. Deputy spoke with father. He stated, that his son informed him of suspicious activity. Son stated that his mother was smoking marijuana. He stated that
over the past four months, his mother has been involved with a female. During the time that she has been involved with her, son has noticed her smoking marijuana on several occasions. He also stated that on several occasions, she has stayed out until three in the morning with the woman. Father explained that the woman only comes to their house when he is not there. He works the night shift. He also explained that they are trying to get a divorce, but it is not in the process yet. On July 28, 2010 while deputy was in residence, son showed deputy a year book that was kept in the master bedroom underneath a piece of furniture. Inside the year book was a rolled up cigarette suspected to be marijuana. The item was disposed of.
Fraud
On July 7, 2010 at approximately 1730, officer spoke with complainant/victim over the phone and he advised, he was contacted by his bank about some suspicious charges that were being made to his mastercard credit card. His bank advised him that three suspicious charges had made it through already but the account was going to be closed. Two of the charges were in Dubal for $725.92 and one in Canada for $1.88. The victim could not see how this could happen when he had his credit card. All charges were made on July 7, 2010.
Domestic Dispute
On July 17, 2010 at 0915 hours officer spoke with complainant at Hunters Lake Drive in reference to harassing phone calls. Complainant stated that on July 16, 2010 at 1735 hours he spoke to ex-wife on phone. He stated, while on phone she asked to speak to kids. He stated, when he asked the kids if they wanted to talk to their mother they said no. He advised, after the kids did not want to talk to their mother, she then stated to him that something bad was going to happen to him. He stated, she also will not stop calling his cell phone.
Complainant stated, he wanted a report filed because he already has some court papers filed through Douglas County. Nothing further at this time.
Disputing Neighbors
On July 15, 2010, officer was dispatched to Ranchette Road in reference to a dispute between neighbors. When officer arrived he met with complainant and her daughter.
Complainant said her daughter and son had walked up the road to retrieve a bicycle tire from a ditch near their driveway. Complainant said that one of the neighbors that lives across the road and his girlfriend began to throw gravel at complainant, hitting her on the legs. Complainant said that she was not injured, but it did leave some marks. The marks
were gone by the time officer arrived and complainant said that it was very small pieces of gravel.
Complainant said that after this incident the other neighbor texted her daughter’s cell phone saying “I am horny, I want to have sex with you.” Complainant said that he had been told by another officer not to text her anymore.
Complainant said that this is an ongoing problem between them and the neighbors and they have also had an incident with neighbors father several days ago, shooting at children.
Neighbor said that all offenders had left the area. Warrant procedures were advised.

TheftA complainant arrived to the sheriff's office to report stolen jewelry. Thecomplainant stated that his roommate recently moved out and believed that heobtained keys to his car. The complainant stored his wife's jewelry, in the truck ofhis car. He believed his roommate took the keys and stole over $5,000 worth ofjewelry. Drunk DrivingAn officer responded to a call regarding an intoxicated male, refusing to leave a localgas station. The store clerk informed the officer that the drunken male had just ran outof the store. Shortly after a 911 call was made concerning a man standing in theroadway and almost being hit by moving traffic. As the officer approached the area henoticed a vehicle stop short and swerve, to avoid hitting the male.
